If you answered “PA SHPO’s Annual Report,” you’re correct!
I am excited to share with PA SHPO’s annual report for 2024. Each year, PA SHPO publishes this report to share the growing list of activities, accomplishments, and preservation outcomes across the Commonwealth.
In it you’ll find some basic information about the PA SHPO office, statistics about the state and federal programs we administer, and feature stories about how PA SHPO’s work educates, records, advises, supports, and commemorates Pennsylvania’s older and historic places.

This map represents the many ways and many places that PA SHPO’s 27 staff members in three offices—Fort Washington, Harrisburg and Pittsburgh—make connections between people, places, and communities. The circle colors are red for educating activities, blue for recording activities, green for advising activities, purple for supporting activities, and yellow for commemorating activities.
I won’t spoil the surprise by posting all the details here, so check it out. While you’re at it, you might also be interested in learning more about PHMC’s important work for the last state fiscal year (2023-2024) in the agency’s annual report.
