Description of Work

In this supervisory role, you will oversee the consideration and protection of above ground properties which may be affected by state and federal projects; plan and implement above ground education and outreach; and help to guide proactive research, documentation, and survey efforts. This position will serve as the primary point of contact related to PA SHPO’s programmatic agreement with PennDOT, FHWA, and USACE. You will have the opportunity to assist with preparing and implementing a comprehensive statewide historic preservation plan as well as the preparation and implementation of a strategic plan for the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).
